Good Timesssss

Thu Nov 5, 2009, 3:19 PM
  • Mood: Big Grin
  • Listening to: Andy playing some shit in his room below me :D
  • Reading: Lecture notes
  • Watching: NCIS
  • Playing: Discworld 1
  • Eating: Double Choc Gateaux (£1 from Sainsbury's!!!!
  • Drinking: Wine
So I go to Uni and I now have a genuine fear that I am KILLING BRAINCELLS!
Bad times :D
Surely they should be multiplying?? At least in theory?

I have also slowly begun to realise that I have essays due in soon, and I have slept through so many lectures that I keep forgetting that you're supposed to do work at Uni D:
Facebook also takes life over a little bit :(

But seriously, going to University has got to be one of the best decisions I have ever made! I've made lots of awesome new friends and my flatmates are so brilliant! The course is fun and being independant is great and it is made up of good times (and some horribly embarassing times...) so if you get the chance, go for it!
Also, the love you receive from errant family members (eg. parents) gets multiplied by 90000 even if your parents were awesome in the first place. :D And when you visit home, the food is FREE!!
You are now jealous.
I have a big goofy grin.

:B

Sorry for abandoning dA, but I'm too lazy to scan things in. I have also received news from fellow flatmates that our halls internet connection refuses to upload stuff to dA.
Good Times mannnn

Can you tell I'm avoiding my assignments?

Procrastination is the spice of life. What's the point of deadlines if you don't make them exciting?

I plan to go to college--in fact, I definitely am, I have little choice--but high school's already killed so many brain cells I no longer WANT to attend a university, for fear it will only do more of the same. Thanks for allaying my fears. XD (P.S. That was the sarcasm button. XDD)

Nooooooooooo it's amazing braincell killing :D
In fact, it makes you feel all the more awesome when you turn up to one of your killer difficult lectures and actually understand what the lecturer is talking about :) I do love it when that happens.
Problem is, you come home from lectures and get into the flat and talk to whoever's in the kitchen and then carry on chatting to anyone around, make dinner, drink, go out, waste time, and decide to do some work tomorrow :D There's so many wonderful distractions!
I love it here :D

Alright. Sounds like fun. That's good at least.
I'm just soooo not independent and I probably will not survive. But at least I'll have fun! Because distractions make life worth living. X3

Hm, I don't really have time to miss things. Possibly because it's so easy to skype people (although hanging up after talking to someone does make me whine pathetically for a little while :D) :D other than that, there's always something going on, so even my homsick friends here have something to distract them :D

Unfortunately, I can't skype my cats. XD And most of my friends don't have skype AND hate the phone. However, you are doing much to reassure me. Thank you. X3
